These are merely two of the growing number of attacks aimed at Christians. The freedom of religions seems to have become freedom FROM religion in mainstream America. Christianity isn't cool.
A dear friend of mine claims to have issues with here daughter's school district for discriminating against her because of a "Christian" slogan on her daughter's T-shirt. It seems the district made her daughter turn it inside out and was told that there was no room in the school for anything promoting Jesus. Christianity isn't cool.
Meanwhile, a growing number of atrocities are being done in order to demonstrate that there are no negative consequences for opposing Christians and Christ. Their folly will one day become evident. It's all in the Bible. They will have to answer to God - whether they believe that or not. There is a saying that has sort of grown old in contemporary Christian circles, "God said it, I believe it, that settles it." For those wishing to be forgiven, that is true. But for all other things, it should say, "God said it; that settles it." Judgement is coming - and not even death can bypass it. God said it; that settles it! The opinion of those who find pleasure in hating on Christians won't change it, either. That's why I won't change my mind. That's why I'm Christian when Christianity isn't cool!
